Sewing Classes in Brno!

Want to start sewing your own clothes but have no idea how to get started?

Tired of fast fashion clothes that don’t fit and feel awful?

Want to start adjusting the clothes you already have to fit you better?

Whether you are an absolute beginner or already know how to use a sewing machine,
there's a class for you!

Beginner's Sewing Class

This is a 2 evening class, designed for absolute beginners. This is the class for you if:

If you’ve never touched a sewing machine before or
Just aren’t feeling very confident using a sewing machine

And don’t worry if you don’t own a sewing machine, I provide one for you in class.

Evening 1 (3 Hours):

Learn everything there is to know about your sewing machine. We’ll cover all the parts and talk about what they’re used for so your sewing machine starts to feel less scary.

Evening 2 (3 Hours):

We’ll put everything you learned in Evening 1 to the test by actually making an elastic waist skirt you’ll be proud to wear.

I loved the class!

I had never used a sewing machine myself and it seemed like a complex monster. After the first class my fear of using it went away, Abbie is great at explaining every detail in a fun and easy way. She’s a fantastic teacher with contagious energy.

After the second class I felt so proud and accomplished as I left with a beautiful skirt that I made 🤩. I’ll definitely return to learn some more!!!

Beginner Sewing Class

I think overall the class was great, I felt that even when I was stuck I could ask anything or stop to wait for some help. I felt the most confident with my sewing machine afterwards.

And most importantly, when I made mistakes I felt that it wasn't the end of the world, which made me less frustrated.

I absolutely loved the class! I liked that it was smaller, and more intimate (4 students), so I felt that all my questions were answered and given full attention to.

I liked how we spent one of the lessons, just learning all the parts of the machine and how to sew, before starting our project in the following lesson.

I love that I now own something I made from scratch and I feel far more comfortable taking on my own projects, alone, outside of class. Thank you, Abbie!
